Maison Garland is a charming and authentic house. It is situated on the quieter, western side of Sant’Antonino and benefits from some of the most breathtaking views out towards the sea on one side and the mountains on the other. The house is un-modernised and the original features such as vaulted ceilings, original floors and fireplaces are part of the character of this house. However, as with all old houses come uneven floors and a certain quirkiness with regards to the layout; the house itself is on a number of levels with steep staircases and apart from the salon, the rooms are small. Car parking is away from the house which is accessed via a cobbled pathway making it unsuitable for the less mobile or small children. A small terrace leads off the salon and there is an additional small terrace and delightful walled garden, which are accessed via a steep cobbled stairway going around the side of the building. This is a perfect location for walkers and bird watchers and those who want to immerse themselves in the life of this beautiful village.
